CASE NUMBER 02-1368

Found on 4/27/2002
Age Range 15-19
Gender: Female
Circumstances:  This teenage female was found behind a business in Tempe but she had been picked up hitchhiking near 32nd Street and Greenway Road in Phoenix.  At the time she told the driver she was kicked out for drug use.  Her death was due to a drug overdose.
Description: She appears to be Hispanic or Native American and has brown eyes. Her hair is long and is dark and straight. She is 5’ tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has several scars; she had faded purple fingernails and an elastic hair tie on her wrist.  She was wearing a red tank top, blue jeans, and underwear along with one black shoe.
Scientific Information: Her DNA has been entered into the CODIS national database and copies of her dental records are on file.

 

CASE NUMBER 02-4117

Found on 12/26/2002
Age Range Over 40
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found in a field near 30th Avenue and Van Buren.  He died of natural causes.  He had a few transient friends but none of them knew his name.
Description: He is a black male with black and gray hair and brown eyes.  He also had a black and gray beard and moustache.  He is 6’3” tall and weighed 140 lbs. He was missing many teeth and was also uncircumcised.  He was wearing black jeans, a multicolored sweater, tennis shoes, and had some money and chap stick in his pocket.
Scientific Information: His DNA has been entered into the CODIA national database and copies of his dental x-rays are on file.

Age Range 18-40
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found in an alley near 23rd Avenue and Thomas. He died of natural causes.
Description: He appears to be Hispanic or Caucasian and is 5’2” tall and 191 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, no facial hair, and no tattoos.  He has a scar near his nipple and another on his lower back. He was wearing black pants and a blue shirt.  He also has very distinctive dental work on his two upper teeth.
Scientific Information: His DNA has been entered into the CODIS national database and copies of his dental records are on file.

Gender: Female
Circumstances:  This woman was struck by a car that fled the scene at 15th Street and Broadway.
Description: She appears to be Caucasian or possible Hispanic. She is 5’4” tall and weighs 158 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.  She was wearing green sweatpants and a flowered t-shirt.
Scientific Information: Her DNA has been entered into the CODIS national database and copies of her dental records are on file

Age Range 20-50
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found in a citrus orchard in Queen Creek, AZ. He is believed to be from Meico. x
Description: He is Hispanic and has brown eyes and long dark brown hair.  He had a goatee style moustache. He is 5’9” tall and weighted 170 pounds. He had several tattoos. One of which was a heart shape. He also had several scars. He was clothed in jeans and t-shirt and also had a jacket with him.

CASE NUMBER 96-2067

Found on 6/24/1996
Age Range 40-60
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found unconscious in the back of a pickup truck on 6/24/96 near the border between Quartzsite, AZ. He died of natural causes at a hospital in Phoenix on 7/24/96.
Description: He is black with black and gray hair. He is balding. He also has a moustache. He is 5’8” and weighs 100 pounds.  He has numerous scars on chest, arms, legs, and back.

CASE NUMBER 90-2705

Found on 12/22/1990
Age Range : middle age appearing
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found unconscious near a curb at 25th Avenue and Glendale in Phoenix.  He died later from his injuries. Police recognized him as a local transient but his identify was unknown.
Description: He is Caucasian or Hispanic and has blackish/gray hair and brown eyes. He had a beard and moustache as well. He was wearing white Reeboks, dark pants, a brown sweater, and a brown jacket. He had surgical scar present. He also had no teeth. Scientific Information: His dental records are available.

 

CASE NUMBER 94-3138

Found on 11/30/1994
Age Range : young adult
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man died after he had an altercation at 15th Avenue and Madison while he was paint sniffing.
Description: He is Hispanic and is 5’8” tall and 157 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair with a moustache. He was wearing a gold colored bracelet with the word Paz, and he was also carrying cigarette lighters. He was wearing white Nike tennis shoes, green socks, brown Dickey’s pants, with Jesus on it and a gray t-shirt with the Virgin of Guadalupe on it.

CASE NUMBER 04-2910

Found on 8/17/2004
Age Range 30-55
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found near 3rd Avenue and Madison on 8/9/04 and died in the hospital on 8/17/04.
Description: He appears to be Caucasian and is 6’2” tall and weighs 163 pounds. He has black “salt and pepper” hair and hazel eyes. He also has a goatee. He has large scars on his abdomen and scars. Dental restorations are present.
Scientific Information: His DNA has been entered into the CODIS national database and copies of his dental x-rays are on file.

 

CASE NUMBER 03-4038

Found on 11/30/2003
Age Range 20-55
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found deceased in a hotel room where it appeared another person had been with him. He had Mexican ID cards with two different names, but police records were able to rule out one as being him. The other name found was Santiago Zamora Gomez, but police had no means to his identity.
Description: He is Hispanic or Native American and is 5’4” tall and 198 pounds. He has brown hair and a brown moustache. He was wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and multicolored shoes.
Scientific Information: His dental x-rays are available and his DNA has been entered into the national database.

Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found deceased between two trailers at Country Club and Broadway in Mesa.
Description: He is Hispanic and is 5’6” tall and weighs 140 pounds. He had brown hair. He had brown eyes and a moustache. He was wearing a blue shirt, black shoes and brown pants.

Age Range 25-45
Gender: Male
Circumstances:  This man was found deceased in El Mirage
Description: He is Hispanic and is 5’7” tall and weighs 130-150 pounds. He had brown eyes, shaggy black hair, and patchy beard. He has a large tattoo on the left side of his chest of a spider. He was wearing black jeans, tennis shoes, and a tan colored belt with a silver colored buckle. He also had a black Velcro wristwatch.
